Last January I posted my story with my Tsunami experiences on Koh Phi Phi, Thailand, on my travelsite (Dutch). In February I deleted the online story, and started writing in detail. In April we published the Dutch book "Wave of Tears". We?? Yes, we.
I survived with my girlfriend Carina and during the evacuation we met Stefan and Karlijn. Together we started an association to raise money for the Island Koh Phi Phi. The book appeared to be a good way to do this.
The book was successfully in The Netherlands. Besides that we got a lot requests for an English version. That's nice, but is it necessary to do all this effort? This summer the relief organisation HiPhiPhi announced that funds were running low on the Island. So we keep going.
We found a translator, Kumar, and right now he's busy to translate it. At the end of September we will publish the English version of "Golf van Tranen": "Wave of Tears". All revenues of the book will go to the island. Want to know more? On my blog you'll find the current status of the book.
Do you have any questions, do you want to help, or just want to say something to us, please give us an e-mail, we love to hear from you.
